Software Engineer Intern - Card Issuing Team

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Card Issuing Team provides APIs for businesses to launch their card program without having to go through the long PCI DSS process.</p> <p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p> <p>Our goal is to build a Card Issuing platform for South East Asia enabling Merchants to easily create their own debit/credit card products. We are building a zero-to-one product therefore there are a lot of gaps, but also opportunities for contributions</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>-Working with third party APIs to enable local and global payments for the cards</li> <li>Building reliable and scalable systems. Managing downtimes and migrations</li> <li>Build and maintain APIs exposed externally for businesses to issue visa cards</li> <li>Design and develop internal tools for business operations, including day to day platform management and transactions reporting</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Interested in bringing to life a zero-to-one product that is first to market in the region</li> <li>Knowledge of iterative, sprint based product development style</li> <li>Knowledge in Golang</li> <li>Knowledge of Git and GitHub</li> <li>Knowledge of RESTful APIs</li> <li>Knowledge of microservices</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL, database design and tuning of database performance</li> </ul> <p><br>Nice to have</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of GraphQL</li> <li>Knowledge of queue systems</li> </ul> <p>Learning Outcomes</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;Working knowledge in Golang, and MySQL</li> <li>Learn to manage small to mid sized engineering projects, prioritization and choosing the highest leverage projects to work on</li> </ul>
