What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in JavaScript and a passion for gamified consumer applications and Web3 technologies. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our PokPok Gamified Options Protocol, leveraging your experience in full stack development, cloud infrastructure, and potentially Solidity smart contracts. Job description

• Develop and maintain consumer-facing web applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with a focus on creating engaging and gamified user experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement features and functionalities that align with the PokPok Gamified Options Protocol roadmap.
• Utilize your knowledge of backend systems and cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, to architect scalable and reliable solutions to support the application's growth.
• Integrate Web3 technologies, including blockchain and smart contracts, into the application to enable unique gamified use cases and features.
• Design and implement gamification elements, such as points, rewards, leaderboards, and challenges, to enhance user engagement and retention.
• Ensure the security and performance of the application through rigorous testing and optimization efforts.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web development, gamification, and blockchain to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with the General Manager (GM) to understand business requirements and priorities, and effectively communicate project status and progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer, with a strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience working on consumer-facing applications.
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale web development projects and understanding of backend systems and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS).
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies and blockchain concepts, with knowledge of Solidity and smart contract development considered a strong plus.
• Experience coding gamified experiences or working on platforms with gaming elements (e.g., loyalty programs, e-commerce with gamification) is highly desirable.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
